The D&D Gate Stop is a rubber-dampened gate stop that mounts to the fence post to prevent the gate from swinging past its intended open position. This protects the hinges and gate frame from stress and impact over time.

The gate stop is particularly important when using the face mount (side pull) latch option — without a stop, the gate can swing past the latch keeper position, preventing the gate from latching correctly.

Simple screw-mount installation onto the fence post. Suitable for any residential pool gate installation using Perf gates.

Do I need a gate stop with the Magna Latch (top pull)?

A gate stop is optional with the Magna Latch — the latch keeper naturally limits the gate swing. However, it is strongly recommended with the face mount side-pull latch (Option 2) to ensure the gate closes correctly into the latch every time.
Where does the gate stop mount?

The gate stop mounts to the fence post on the side the gate opens towards, at a height that catches the gate frame when fully open. Exact position depends on your gate swing angle.

How this ships: small item — couriered Australia-wide. Shipping is calculated at checkout, minimum $25 per order.

Christmas & Holiday Periods: During the November–December period and leading into Christmas, processing and delivery timeframes can extend by 1–2 weeks. Plan ahead if you have a deadline.
Warranty — the honest version

There is no manufacturer warranty on this product. None. Your guarantees under Australian Consumer Law still apply — goods must be of acceptable quality for what they are, and what they are is a budget imported fence, sold as exactly that. All Sales Are Final

Due to the nature of our products — large-format aluminium fencing panels, gates and hardware that are ordered, warehoused and dispatched to order — we do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect selection.

We strongly encourage you to carefully review your order before confirming purchase. Check your colour selection (Satin Black or Monument Satin), confirm your required quantities, and verify that you have the correct products for your installation method before placing your order.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

While we do not accept change of mind returns, we take product quality and order accuracy seriously. If you receive a product that is:

  • —Damaged — physically damaged during transit or delivery
  • —Defective — has a manufacturing fault or defect affecting its function
  • —Incorrect — does not match the product code or colour you ordered

Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at sales@safestpoolfence.com.au with clear photographs of the issue. We will assess the claim and arrange a suitable resolution, which may include replacement or refund.

Claims made after 24 hours of delivery cannot be accepted — please inspect your order carefully at the time of delivery or collection before leaving the depot or signing off on delivery.

Order Cancellation

Once an order has been placed and payment received, it enters our processing queue immediately. Cancellation may not be possible once the order has been forwarded to the warehouse. If you need to cancel, contact us immediately at sales@safestpoolfence.com.au and we will advise whether cancellation is still possible.

Our policy operates alongside your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). The ACL provides guarantees that products must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description. These guarantees cannot be excluded by any returns policy.
