The Base Plate Set allows surface mounting of the 50×50mm aluminium post onto existing concrete without core drilling. The 100×100mm base plate sits flat on the concrete surface and is secured with chemical anchors or bolts through the countersunk holes.

Supplied with 4 × 12g/50mm SS304 countersunk screws for fixing the base plate to the post. Chemical anchors or dynabolts for fixing to concrete are not included and should be selected to suit your specific concrete type and thickness.

Order one base plate set per post.

Are anchor bolts included?

No — the set includes screws to fix the base plate to the post but not the anchors to fix the base plate to concrete. Use appropriate dynabolts or chemical anchors for your concrete type. Ask your local hardware store for the correct specification for pool fence post loading.

Is surface mounting to AS1926.1 compliant?

Surface-mounted posts can be AS1926.1 compliant when correctly installed and fixed to an appropriate structural substrate. Check with your local council or pool safety inspector for your state's specific requirements.

Warranty — the honest version

There is no manufacturer warranty on this product. None. Your guarantees under Australian Consumer Law still apply — goods must be of acceptable quality for what they are, and what they are is a budget imported fence, sold as exactly that. All Sales Are Final

Due to the nature of our products — large-format aluminium fencing panels, gates and hardware that are ordered, warehoused and dispatched to order — we do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect selection.

We strongly encourage you to carefully review your order before confirming purchase. Check your colour selection (Satin Black or Monument Satin), confirm your required quantities, and verify that you have the correct products for your installation method before placing your order.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

While we do not accept change of mind returns, we take product quality and order accuracy seriously. If you receive a product that is:

  • —Damaged — physically damaged during transit or delivery
  • —Defective — has a manufacturing fault or defect affecting its function
  • —Incorrect — does not match the product code or colour you ordered

Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at sales@safestpoolfence.com.au with clear photographs of the issue. We will assess the claim and arrange a suitable resolution, which may include replacement or refund.

Claims made after 24 hours of delivery cannot be accepted — please inspect your order carefully at the time of delivery or collection before leaving the depot or signing off on delivery.

Order Cancellation

Once an order has been placed and payment received, it enters our processing queue immediately. Cancellation may not be possible once the order has been forwarded to the warehouse. If you need to cancel, contact us immediately at sales@safestpoolfence.com.au and we will advise whether cancellation is still possible.
